This is the second full week of my November challenge. I did pretty well last week. I managed to:
- Make a quick sweep of each room in the house, and round up everything that I could easily part with.
- Had Habitat for Humanity pick up first round of items.
- Took clothes and books that I could sell to Plato’s Closet and Half Price Books.
- Began organizing digital media files.
- Cleaned out my shed: donated three boxes of stuff to Goodwill; filled two big blues with trash; and have a plan of action for rest of stuff.
- Created a zone for incoming mail and batch processed it one evening while watching TV.
I think the only thing I did not begin work on was listing items online. The weather was so perfect over the weekend I decided to move up the shed clean-out and save the selling for a bad weather day. Here’s this week’s list:
- Organize studio closet (including finding a home for all my tools on the pegboard in my closet).
- Do a final clean out of my bedroom closet.
- Clean out hall closet.
- Take hazardous waste items to OKC facility.
- Call Habitat for Humanity to pickup items to be donated from shed.
- Take clothes to Daisy Exchange to sell (tried Plato’s Closet last week and still have a few items).
- Attempt to sell a few items from shed.
- Clean off desk; file stuff waiting to be filed.
I think that should keep me busy this week!
