Mom on Her Wedding Day
Today is my Mom’s birthday. Happy Birthday Mom! She has been super supportive this year while I’ve been transitioning. She was one of my first readers and has amassed a nice collection of Stella & Dot. Thanks for everything Mom! I think she and Daddy are going out to eat at her favorite restaurant tonight. We will celebrate with lunch at my house on Sunday.
My niece and I went “antiquing” last week. The only thing that really caught my eye was this chair. I love the lines and style. I would love to buy it and have it reappolstered but it just wasn’t in the budget. Please disregard the creepy mannequin – it was hard to get a picture without it.
I’ve been trying to increase my brainpower with the “Who Has the Biggest Brain?” game on my iPhone. I used to do a lot of crosswords and sudoku and decided the other night that I should be doing something to work my brain. My results range from having the brain of an ape to that of a scholar. My logic scores tend to be the highest. Somewhere along the way I lost the ability to do math in my head.
I mentioned before that I had ordered samples for some new items. One of those was a mouse pad. I like how it turned out and will gradually be adding them to my Etsy store.
The town next to my hometown, was featured on Jay Leno’s Headline segment. Here’s a pretty good headline from the Alva Review-Courier. I noticed the first headline was from The Oklahoman; does this say something about Oklahoma?
