Did you have a nice weekend? Mine was very enjoyable. I got to meet the latest member of the family. It’s hard to believe that we humans start out as such tiny little things. I also managed to complete a calligraphy project and do some yard work.
Reading…The Signature of All Things. I’m not very far into this latest novel by Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love
, but I’m enjoying it so far. It hasn’t pulled me in yet, so I’m not moving through it very quickly. Hopefully I’ll get hooked soon.
Eating… Happy Farms Firecracker Colby Jack Cheese. I picked up this cheese at Aldi the other day and had to make myself not eat the entire round in one sitting. It has jalapeño, habanero, and chipotle peppers in it. Delicious!
Loving…my Dyson vacuum. With four dogs in the house right now, my vacuum is getting a workout. I purchased a refurbished Dyson from Overstock almost ten years ago and still love it as much today as I did then. If you are in the market for a vacuum cleaner, I highly recommend them.
Watching… Luther. Netflix recommended this British TV series another recommendation based on my love of British television and crime procedurals. I’ve watched the first season (6 episodes) and have moved on to the second. It’s pretty dark – not as dark as Hannibal, but still pretty dark. The unpredictable storyline has me hooked.
Wanting…Endeavour Soundtrack. I’ve been interested in this soundtrack since watching the first season of the series on Netflix. If it had been available in digital format I would have bought it on the spot. Last week’s episode included the Chopin Nocturne that I’ve been attempting to learn. It was kind of a creepy episode – made the nocturne a little spooky sounding.
What have you been up to lately?
