Lately…

Did you have a good weekend? I managed to stay out of the bitter cold. For the first time in twenty years, I’m seriously considering getting remote start for my car. It’s that cold out there!

Watching… Rectify. I think I read a recommendation for this in Entertainment Weekly. Amazon has the first episode available to watch for free. It’s the story of a man that was convicted of raping and murdering his girlfriend but then released 20 years later, after DNA evidence does not implicate him. I’ve only watched the first episode but really enjoyed it.

Reading… Quiet. Amazon has had some incredible deals on Kindle books lately. I read about this book somewhere and had it on my wish list, when the price was next to nothing I decided to buy it. It’s been an interesting read.

Wanting… Antique Brass Swing Arm Wall Lamps. I am in the middle of redecorating my bedroom. I would LOVE to replace my current bedside lamps with these. Unfortunately, they are a bit (or a lot) out of my price range. I’m watching for a sale.

Listening to… Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas. I love Ella Fitzgerald; this Christmas album is no exception. If you’re looking for some holiday tunes, I highly recommend this one.

Mourning… the loss of my Cowboys. It was a rough weekend. My OSU Cowboys lost to the Sooners. Now I’m looking forward to my high school’s team playing for the state championship. Go Chiefs!!!
