Watching…
Bosch. I binge-watched Season 6 over the weekend and it did not disappoint. It starts out with a terrorist plot that thankfully was not the main storyline of the season. I think that might have been a little too dark for me at the moment. It was a good season. I love that Maddie is getting older and we’re getting to see her plan her own future. Every time I watch a season, I think about reading the books but I am hesitant in case it gives away any giant plotlines.
Reading…
They Both Die at the End. I’m still struggling to read with any regularity. I starting listening to this book on Scribd (get 60 days free), thinking that maybe if I can make it through a fiction book being read to me, then maybe I can read one on my own. I’m not very far into it. The premise is that there is this service that calls to tell you this is your last day to live. The book follows to teenagers after receiving their calls.
Listening to…
Every Little Thing: Inside the Jigsaw Puzzle Factory. If the lack of puzzles available on Amazon is any indication, they are pretty popular right now. This episode dives into how they are made. This was not something I’d ever really thought about. Apparently Ravensburger is very serious about puzzle making and even has someone that does each puzzle upon completion to make sure all the pieces fit and that none are missing.
Wearing…
slides. I have several pairs of slides. They aren’t particularly my favorite shoe to wear when I’m out and about but I’m finding that now that I’m home most of the time, they’ve become my shoe of choice. I can easily remove them if I want to put my feet up, but by wearing shoes, I feel a bit more put together. These TOMS mules are a favorite.
Eating…
Cauliflower Rice Bowl. I don’t know what I would do without Costco’s cauliflower rice. It has become a staple in my diet. One bag is two servings. I usually eat the first half with some polish sausage and then use the second half for a Mediterranean rice bowl. I add cucumber, tomato, olives, pepperoncini, and some dressing. Delish!
