Sorry for disappearing again. I’ve had trouble adjusting to my new work-from-home schedule (or lack thereof). This week I’m going to work on having more of a schedule and alternating more between law office work and creating. So, hopefully I will be a bit better about posting here.
Watching… Doc Martin. This show has come up frequently when I’ve searched out British shows to watch. I’m not sure why I didn’t start it until now. Doc Martin is a bit like House, smart but lacking social skills. He says exactly what he’s thinking, which can be pretty humorous. It’s also set in a beautiful seaside village.
Reading… Things You Save in a Fire. This is a spin-off of sorts to How to Walk Away. It’s the story of one of the minor characters in that book. I generally like Katherine Center’s books. They are usually borderline chick-lit. This one seems more straight-up chick-lit. I’m about halfway into it so things could change but it’s a little predictable and too romancey for my tastes.
Listening to… Coronavirus: Fact vs. Fiction. I have struggled with finding the right amount of news to consume these last few weeks. It can be a bit stressful. After listening to Sanjay Gupta on Armchair Expert I began listening to his daily Coronavirus podcast. Each episode is usually around 10 minutes and is surprisingly calming. Nothing is sensationalized and learning the facts makes me feel better about the situation. I especially recommend the episode with Dr. Fauci.
Loving… Tattly tattoos. I’m too much of a commitmentphobe and too afraid of needles to get a real tattoo. But, I was looking to add some novelty to my current situation and decided a temporary tattoo would be a fun way to do it. I’m currently sporting this fun floral one. I would love to add this Helen Dardik one and this floral variety pack to my collection.
Wanting… Overtone Coloring Conditioner. Another thing I’ve thought about doing for fun is trying out this coloring conditioner. Since I’m not going into the office I really want to try the purple!
