Reading… Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men. I am currently in the middle of reading several books. This book is this month’s book club books and seeing as I am in charge of leading the discussion, the most pressing in my reading stack. It’s a fascinating, if not depressing, read. I think it’s one that everyone should read, but it might be best left to reading a chapter here and there.
Watching… The Good Karma Hospital. I was excited when Season 3 of this series dropped on Acorn. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it. This is one of those series where the location is basically a character in the show. It really makes me want to revisit India.
Eating… Riced Cauliflower. I’m really trying to get back on my CTOV regimen. These packages of riced cauliflower from Costco are a major key to any success I have had. They are really simple to prepare. This inspired me to try my hand at salt & vinegar mashed cauliflower. Pretty yummy!
Researching… being more sustainable. One of the other books that I’m reading/listening to is about the environment. I’ve been on the path to living more sustainably for a while, but there is always room for improvement. I discovered during my research this weekend that there is a composting service with a drop off location not too far from home. I tried to compost at home a couple of years ago but was too lazy to make it work. This is an affordable option that can be handled during my weekly errand run. Or maybe I should get a composter that turns instead of trying to do it manually.
Loving… my Letterfolk Tile Mat. When I saw this released on Kickstarter, I couldn’t resist supporting the production. Mine came over the weekend. It’s really well done and will be a lot of fun changing out.
