Reading…
One of Us is Lying. This was another of my library reserves. It was a pretty quick read. While I was not completely surprised by the conclusion of this mystery, I did enjoy the story. This is one where things aren’t what they seem and the characters grow and change. I recommend this one; I give it 4/5 stars.
Watching…
Offspring. I’ve been working on uploading some patterns to my Society6 store and wanted something to “watch” while I work. I love this series. Since I’ve seen it before, I can work and watch at the same time without missing too much. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend stopping with the Season 5 finale. The show had a pretty good conclusion there and should have ended at that point.
Eating…
watermelon. I’m consuming copious amounts of watermelon; summer is officially here. I’ve been buying the small round watermelons from Trader Joe’s. They are about the perfect size to last me a week of averaging about 1.5 servings per day. Yum!
Visiting…
the Wondrous Worlds: Art & Islam through Time & Place Exhibit at the Philbrook Museum. I love the geometric patterns and turquoise colors used in Islamic art and took tons of inspiration pics at this exhibit. This was an enjoyable exhibit and I recommend a visit this summer. The Lusha Nelson exhibit was tiny and just consisted of photos not in the previous exhibit. I enjoyed the previous exhibit a lot more.
Wanting…
a black fit and flare dress. I’ve been working on my summer capsule wardrobe and was really wanting a black knit fit and flare dress – something that’s pretty versatile, that will be relatively cool in the hot summer months. I had an Amazon gift card burning a hole in my pocket, so I decided to give this one a go. It’s very highly rated. Hopefully, it works out better than the dress I posted about last week. I tried one on in the store and did not like how it fit.
