Reading…
Transcription. I am slowly whittling my way through the backlog of library books on my Kindle. Hopefully I can make it through them in the next couple of weeks so I take it off airplane mode. I had trouble getting into Kate Atkinson’s Life After Life, but I’m really enjoying this book of espionage and intrigue set during WWII. I may have to go back and try Life After Life again. I know it was a favorite of quite a few people.
Watching…
Bosch. With it being a holiday weekend, I did not get to spend much time on Bosch. I’m only one episode in. I guess that means I will get to enjoy it this week. That’s probably just as well; it seems like a lot of my shows have recently ended for the season. Someday, I would like to read the Bosch books. Have you read them?
Eating…
Siete Cashew Queso. I don’t remember where I heard about this dairy-free queso, but I’ve been watching for it in the store for awhile. I was excited to come across it at Natural Grocers this week. It is delicious – tastes just like real queso! I devoured the jar pretty quickly. It’s pretty expensive. I wonder if I could make a homemade version that tastes as good.
Using…
Gemini Photos: Gallery Cleaner app. John recommended this app on Young House Love Has a Podcast. It goes through the photos on your phone and compares pictures for duplicates. It selects what it believes to be the best and lets you easily choose what to keep and what to delete. It organizes screenshots and notes so you can quickly see what you have and delete what you no longer need. It’s a paid service, but it’s the most intuitive of anything that I’ve used for this purpose. I’m a fan.
Wanting…
Simple Crossbody Bag from Madewell. I love my Medium Transport Tote. It’s wearing really well, but it’s pretty big to carry around if I’m going to be walking around a lot. I would like to have a small leather crossbody bag that I can use when I travel or am out exploring. I have read that Mother’s Day is a good time to find sales at Madewell, so I am hopeful to pick this up on sale.
