Watching… Mrs. Wilson. This true story of a man with four families would be interesting on its own, but there’s a whole other level when you find out that Ruth Wilson is portraying her own grandmother in this miniseries. It’s especially fascinating that to this day they don’t know some of the truth because he was a spy and MI5 won’t release his records. This is the kind of program that leads me down lots of google rabbit holes.
Reading… I’ll be Gone in the Dark. I have heard great things about this book about Michelle McNamara’s search for the Golden State Killer and suggested we read it for book club. I’m having a little bit of trouble getting into it. I have lots of questions about how the profile matches up to the actual killer (since he was arrested after the book was written). It’s kind of bizarre, there seems to be very little information out there about the killer. I guess he isn’t talking and they aren’t releasing information until the trial – but don’t even know that for sure.
Eating… at Revolucion. I’ve been wanting to try out this Mexican restaurant. They have a pretty cool patio and was hoping to dine al fresco, but alas the Oklahoma weather did not cooperate. The chips were especially delicious. I will definitely be eating here again. It may even become my new go-to Mexican restaurant.
Drinking… Water. I had kind of fallen off the healthy kick and one of the biggest things I’m trying to do to get back on track is to drink lots of water. Keeping my glass water bottle filled and by my side is the key to my success.
Using… Done app. I’m working on improving some of my regular habits, including doing daily yoga again. I also want to meditate and create daily. I don’t remember where I read about this habit tracker app but I think it’s going to be helpful. It’s free, plus it’s not ugly. It also lets you see your progress for all your habits on one screen.
