I did not intend to take so much time off. Between being a little under the weather and a weird work schedule at the law office, I’ve had trouble getting my act together.
Reading… Lethal White. I’m a big fan of this J.K. Rowling series (written under a pseudonym). At 656 pages, this is a bit longer than I’m used to. I had to put my Kindle on airplane mode so the library wouldn’t take it back before I finished. I’m enjoying it and gradually getting into it.
Watching… Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. I’ve been hearing good things about this new Netflix series and decided to check it out this weekend. I’ve watched 1.5 episodes. The same things that made me a little uncomfortable about the book are also present in the show; I’m not big on thanking my things. It also makes me a little uncomfortable seeing some of the cluttered filled spaces. I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to make it through this one.
Listening to… The Dream. This podcast about pyramid schemes and multi-level-marketing is fascinating. I devoured it last week. I recommend it if you want to learn about the shady world of MLMs. I had no idea that Madeleine Albright sold Herbalife.
Starting… a bullet journal. I’ve been wanting to try my hand at bullet journaling in order to get a little more organized. I opted to start out with this Artist’s Loft Dot Journal from Michael’s. I’m amazed with the quality of this $5 journal. I’ve always been a big fan of making lists; I think bullet journaling is going to work out.
Seeing… Victorian Radicals at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. When I heard this exhibit had some William Morris pieces, I was excited to see it. I cut it a little close, going the second to the last day. I wish there’s been more William Morris pieces. I wish the OKCMOA would have a surface pattern design exhibit.
