Reading… The Dinner List. While in college, Sabrina makes of list of five people, dead or alive, that she would invite to dinner. Surprisingly, they all show up to celebrate her 30th birthday. I really enjoyed this one. It was different and thought-provoking. Who would you choose?
Watching… A Million Little Things. This is Us is usually the show that I can count on to make me cry, but this week it was A Million Little Things. I don’t think it’s as good as This is Us, but I enjoyed it enough to keep watching.
Eating… Jilz Cracked Pepper & Sea Salt Crackers. After picking up some Jalapeno Lime Almond Dip at Trader Joe’s, I decided some gluten free crackers would be the perfect companion. I’d heard good things about these and picked up some at Natural Grocers. They are a great gluten free alternative but too expensive (half the Amazon price at NG) to make a regular snack.
Wearing… Dolman Tops. I love a good dolman top. They are super cozy but still look cute. I was excited that Loft has a nice selection and stocked up during a big sale. Pretty soon all my shoes will be TOMS and all my tops will be dolmans.
Doing… Yoga Nidra. I have been doing everything I can to improve my sleep. I think Yoga has helped the most. I notice I tend to sleep better if I do regular yoga during the day. Yoga Nidra helps me get back to sleep when I wake up during the night. I especially like Jennifer Piercy’s guided meditations on the Insight Timer App. I’ve enjoyed them so much I bought her Guide to Deeper Sleep.
