Reading… We Were Liars. I enjoyed this young adult book about four teenage cousins that only see each other every summer when they visit their family’s private island in New England. It was a change of pace from most YA. You know at the beginning of the book that something traumatic has happened, but it’s not until the very end that the mystery is revealed. It’s one of those books that you want to reread once you know the answer to the mystery.
Watching… Golf. I felt kinda crummy this weekend and spent a lot of it laying around watching The Brokenwood Mysteries, Football, and lots of Golf. It was an exciting tournament. I love a good comeback and Tiger’s was an exciting one!
Listening to… The Sleeping at Last Podcast (in particular Five & the Enneagram). I think I’ve talked about the Sleeping at Last Enneagram album before. I was excited to learn that he had made a podcast too. Each episode breaks down how the songs were made. The Enneagram episodes also include an interview with Chris Heuertz, author of The Sacred Enneagram, about the type featured.
Loving… the cooler weather. I could have done without the deluge of rain on Friday but I am incredibly excited that the temperatures are beginning to show a hint of fall!
Wanting… a sweater blazer. I’m intrigued by the new sweater blazer trend. I’ve always preferred a sweater to a blazer, but I think I could get behind these more casual blazers.
