Reading… Her Every Fear. I enjoyed The Kind Worth Killing so much that I jumped right into the next Peter Swanson book.I enjoyed this one but not nearly as much. It seems the author has spent some time in London and New England – both books go back and forth between the two. Her Every Fear was a little creepier than I like. It looks like he has a couple of more books. I will read them, but will probably space them out a bit.
Watching… The Brokenwood Mysteries. I’ve been on the search for something new to watch. It seems I’ve become kind of picky – a show can’t be too dark and gets bonus points if it’s set in an “exotic” location and has a good soundtrack. I love this mystery set in New Zealand. It’s fitting the Masterpiece hole in my heart.
Listening to… Second Life. I’m always on the lookout for podcasts featuring interviews with creatives. I love this one which features a variety of creative women who have taken a leap and started a second (or third or fourth) life.
Eating… Camu Camu. I’ve been having a lot of histamine issues lately; If I eat high histamine foods, I get really congested. I used to put camu camu in my smoothie but stopped for some reason. After reading about Vitamin C helping with histamine trouble, I started up again a few days ago and think it may be the key. I’ve been sleeping better since I started taking it again too!
Loving… iDrive. For years, I used Carbonite as an online backup for my primary computer. It was coming up for renewal and I decided that it would be wise to consider the alternatives. I’m glad I did. iDrive is less expensive and I can backup all my devices. I have it on my desktop, laptop, iPad, and iPhone. I have not had to restore from it, but I’m very impressed with the ease of setup. It’s nice knowing that all my photos and other files are backed up to the same place.
