I can’t believe there are only four months left in 2018! Did you have a good August? I missed writing these posts during August Break.
Watching… The Letdown. I enjoyed Offspring and 800 Words so much that I sought out another Australian series to watch. I liked this one – maybe not quite as much as the others, but there’s only one season so there wasn’t as much time for my love to grow. I am definitely interested in a season two.
Reading… The Kind Worth Killing. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a suspense novel this much since Gone Girl. It reminded me of Luther and Strangers on a Train. With those similarities, I was worried that the story would be predictable but it had lots of twists and turns. Very entertaining!
Listening to… Patty Griffin. I’ve been listening to a lot of Patty Griffin in preparation for seeing her in concert later this month. I’ve always wanted to see her live and am really looking forward to it!
Loving… my Yoga Wheel. I’ve been trying to get back into the yoga habit. I was insanely flexible as a kid; unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I feel like I’ve lost a lot of flexibility in my back. I got this yoga wheel to work on stretching my back. I think it’s working. I’m much closer to being able to do a backbend than I was when I started.
Eating… Vegan Cheesecake. I saw Samah making this on the Today Show the other day. I try not to keep sweets around, but couldn’t resist this paleo friendly recipe. I cut them into small bite-sized squares hoping to limit my consumption. That has not worked out so well. They are delicious!
What have you been up to lately?
