Reading… Reading People. I was excited when Anne Bogel announced she had written a book and it hasn’t disappointed. It’s about all things personality. I’m a little more than halfway through and have already learned about a few assessments with which I was not familiar.
Watching… Kevin Probably Saves the World. With everything going on in the world, I have been craving and seeking out up-lifting media. This show fits the bill. After a failed suicide attempt, Kevin moves in with his sister and teenage niece. One night after his sister is mysteriously picked up by a helicopter to assist the government, a meteor strikes near the house. Kevin can’t resist taking his niece out to find the meteor. Something magical happens when he touches the meteor. An angel appears to him and tells him that he’s been chosen to save the world. If you can’t handle fantastical programs, this one might not be for you. I love Jason Ritter as Kevin and find myself looking forward to this one each week.
Listening to… Selfie Podcast. This podcast is all about self care. There is some fashion and beauty mixed in with deeper topics. They’ve been focussing on a different part of the MBTI each week. I rarely see anything about what each letter means on its own and it’s been interesting learning about it. It’s made it a lot easier to (attempt) assess friends and loved ones.
Wanting… Black V-Neck Cashmere Sweater. After seeing it recommended on a fashion blog, I purchased this sweater last year during a Black Friday or Christmas sale. It says it’s dry clean but it did very well washed on gentle. Unfortunately, it did not do so well when I accidentally dried it. I really miss that sweater. I’m holding out for this year’s sales because they always have really good deals on these sweaters around the holidays.
Wearing… Zoe calf hair leopard print d’Orsay flats. I had a pair of Steve Madden calf hair leopard print flats that I wore for several years and were pretty bald when I finally decided that it was time to retire them. I have been searching for a similar pair ever since. I was so excited to discover these. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7; I sized up to the 7 and am wearing them with these terry insoles (which I love and use in almost every pair of flats I own). I suspect these shoes are going to get a lot of wear.
