How was your holiday weekend? I think Thanksgiving dinner at my house went off without a hitch. I spent the rest of the weekend being a lazy slug. I’m fully recovered and ready to get back to work.
Reading… Make Room for What you Love. I am hoping to make a final push to purge the more stuff before the end of the year. I’m always on the lookout for inspiration. This book has been inspiring me to eliminate the non-essential and develop habits to keep things in order.
Watching… Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. I was a huge Gilmore Girls fan when it was on the air. My friends and I called it Gilmo and it was a frequent topic of conversation. We were all very disappointed with the last season and wanted to know how Amy Sherman-Palladino had intended for the show to end. If you are like me and watched all four installments over the weekend, we now know those final four words. While they made perfect sense, I was still surprised.
Loving… Frigidaire Gas Range. My oven died a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. Not good! It had lived a pretty good life and I suspected it was on its last legs. I’ve had a few Frigidaire appliances and have been really happy with them. I’d always been pretty happy with my previous range but I love this one. I learned that if you ask, Lowe’s will likely give you a 10% discount.
Listening to… Wonderland Podcast. After reading an interview with Steven Johnson on Gretchen Rubin’s blog, I was excited to check out his podcast. The podcast discusses the connection between play and innovation. I’ve really been enjoying it and am looking forward to reading the book.
Wanting… iPad Pro & Pencil. I have been wanting an iPad Pro and Pencil for awhile but didn’t know how much until I saw this and this. There’s so many ideas I’ve had in my head that I could get out with these tools. Hopefully selling a few things, along with some Christmas money will make getting them a reality!
