How was your weekend? Mine was lovely. I was able to soak up a bit of sun and accomplish a few things around the house. I’d been feeling like a bit of a slug; I’m thankful that the sun has returned, it makes a world of difference to my productivity.
Watching… Dr. Thorne. Since Downton Abbey, Grantchester, and Call the Midwife have ended, I’ve been on the lookout for a new show to fill the British TV void. I was excited to discover this series adapted by the work of Anthony Trollope by Julian Fellowes. I’ve just started watching but I have high hopes!
Listening to… the Spark My Muse podcast. After hearing Lisa DeLay on the Intentionally Wandering podcast, I decided to check out her podcast and listened to the most recent episode with Jeff Sandquist (of Intentionally Wandering). Like Jeff, she seems to believe in keeping an open mind and staying curious. I will definitely check out more episodes.
Loving… Marion Chaise Lounge Chairs. If you are a regular here, you know I’ve been on the lookout for some new patio chairs. I had hoped to score some used ones but no dice. I finally found these in the store at K-Mart. The price was a little higher than I wanted to pay so I waited and found them online for a bit less. I decided to pull the trigger and spend my birthday money a little early. I’m glad I did. I enjoyed loungingĀ on the back patio reading my book this weekend.
Drinking… Rebbl Mocha Maca. I happened across this at the grocery store yesterday. It had the look of an iced coffee which sounded good at the time, so I picked one up. It was not cheap but it was good! I’m afraid I’ve found a new expensive habit. I’m hoping I can find them at a better price.
Reading… Dwell Magazine. I don’t purposefully subscribe to any magazines (I do however receiveĀ some unwanted ones) but if I did, Dwell would be at the top of the list. Thankfully, the library has it on Zinio which is how I prefer to read my magazines anyway. I was a bit behind but caught up this weekend. Good stuff!
