Do you have big plans for the weekend? The weather is supposed to be cooler and drier here. I have several projects in mind – most involve spray painting stuff outside; I hope the weather will cooperate. The humidity has been too high for weeks.
I have been scanning old family photos. I thought I would occasionally share some of them here. The photo above is from one of my grandpa’s hunting trips to Alaska. I’m not sure when this was taken, unfortunately very few of the photos are marked. The man on the left was one of his fellow travelers. I think the man on the right is probably a local.
Looks like Harry and Edna lived my dream life. Love the story; it would have been so much fun to be part of the search to identify them. (via PetaPixel).
Fried pickles! My favorite.
A favorite small space makeover.
All about quotes and accents.
On oldy but a goody about developing multiple income streams.
Can you believe this is formica?
SchnauzerCam – too cute (via I Suwannee).
Think I might try my hand at canning this summer. I’ve always been a bit afraid to try; I remember my high school science teacher talking about exploding cans & glass jars.
So many books, so little time. Great recommendations here (see the comments). And some of Michael Crichton’s early novels are being released as ebooks.
Have a great weekend!
