I can’t believe we are already a quarter into 2012. I’ve been doing okay on my resolutions, but could definitely do better. I’ve decided to change things up a bit on my Goals and Progress Reports. I don’t think my goals are specific enough so I’m going to make weekly goals. Many of these will be more specific goals that work towards my 2012 resolutions. Each Monday, I will bring you a progress report of how things are going and detail next week’s goals. I hope this might help me focus a bit. I have so many different things that I can be working on that I sometimes have trouble focusing.
This Week’s Goals:
- Write 6 posts (3 for each blog) before Easter Weekend – I would really like to take a little break next weekend to celebrate Easter with my family.
- Remove Everything from Studio closet – One of my household goals for the year was to go through each room, get rid of everything I don’t want or use, and decorate each room (or at least develop a plan for each room). My January room was my studio. It’s April and I’m still not finished. My holdup has been the closet. I think if I take everything out of the closet, I can work towards organizing it and just adding back the things I want to keep.
- Design a New Pattern – I began working on a Fleur de Lis pattern a few weeks ago. My power went out before I saved everything and part of my work was lost. I’ve been avoiding going back to work on it.
- Scan Three More of My Cookbooks – I have a large collection of Church cookbooks that aren’t available in digital format. I’ve been scanning them so I can use my iPad and free up some space in my kitchen.
What goals do you have for this week?
