The Kitchen in its Current State
I bought my house a little over nine years ago. Built in 1940, I think it has character. The previous owners redid the kitchen. The cabinets were purchased from a swanky custom furniture store and the tile is a tumbled limestone. While it’s nice, it’s not really my style. I’ve been dreaming about redoing the kitchen for awhile now. I will probably keep the cabinets and paint them white. While I would love to have white marble counters, unless I come into a lot of money, I plan on keeping the green granite. I would eventually like to have all stainless appliances. I started with the dishwasher, the stove will be the next to go. I might keep my white fridge and do something like this:

The biggest undertaking will be replacing the tile. For the backsplash I would love to do this Moroccan Tile from Overstock. It’s not currently available but seems to go in and out of stock.
And for the floors I think I want to install cork floors, paint them gray and stencil them in white with this Skylar’s Lace Stencil.
