Morning are my favorite time of day – seeing the sun as it begins to peak through the trees and scatters its light.
August Break: Day 19 – Fabric
I still adore this quilt from Garnet Hill that I acquired shortly after buying my house almost 20 years ago. It must be popular because they still sell a variation of it today.
August Break: Day 18 – Backwards
Today I’m looking back on this day 100 years ago and to all the women that made it happen. It is crazy to me that neither of my grandmothers were born with the right to vote. This hand lettered piece is in honor of the suffragists. Ladies, lets make their hard work count.

August Break: Day 14 – Mirrored

August Break: Day 13 – Comfortable
Arlo can make himself comfortable nearly anywhere. He especially likes to cuddle up to me or Charlotte.

August Break: Day 11 – Water
Have you tried the Limoncello La Croix? It’s become a staple of summer for me.
