I’m really getting excited about how the master bedroom is coming together. I finally finished painting. The wall color is a dark gray, but at least in my bedroom, it looks more like a navy. I love the dark walls. If you are considering going with dark walls, I recommend it. I especially love it in the bedroom; it seems really cozy.
My sister has been so kind as to make a trip to Ikea for me for curtains, and is going to make another run to pick up a Rast dresser. I haven’t decided for sure what I’m going to do with it – I’m leaning towards something like this or maybe a campaign dresser hack.
I love this starburst mirror; if you are in the market for one, this is by far the most affordable one I’ve seen. Plus it looks more expensive than some of the more expensive options.
I would absolutely love to have these swing arm lamps, but they aren’t in the budget. Instead, I will probably use some rub ‘n buff to change the finish on my current lamps. In another budgetary consideration, I chose these pillows from Target. They kind of have a Josef Frank feel without the cost.
The bedding is turquoise, as is a lot of the other stuff in the room. I’ve also thrown in coral accents around the room. I love how it’s turning out!
