After reading this article about setting goals, I discovered the Day Zero Project. The idea is to set 101 goals to accomplish in 1001 days (about 2.75 years). On the website you can create a user name and set up your own list. And when you accomplish one of your goals you can put a pretty checkmark next to it. I love crossing things off the list!
Goals are what move us forward. Making a living without a job has always been on my list and I’m so excited to be moving in that direction. Although, technically I still have a job, albeit a part-time one. I am moving towards that goal with this blog and the other projects that I am working on.
One of my favorite goals is to learn new things. To quote Charlene of Designing Women (still one of my favorite tv shows), “I love knowledge, in fact I yearn for it.” In the past few years I have learned to play the viola and how to crochet. And I’m currently learning to use WordPress. Next on my list is to learn to play the guitar and take an upholstery class.
101 things allows for improvement in a lot of areas in one’s life. I’m still working on my list but in addition to learning new things I am making fitness/health, travel, financial, business, and creativity goals.
What goals are on your list?
